Climópolis is a trip-planning site. For every tourist destination it shows the weather for each month, the local time, when the sun rises, what to pack and what to buy.
Who makes it
Climópolis is a project by Ignacio Alberto Nelson, based in Argentina. If you have a question, found a mistake or want to suggest something, write to us from the contact page.
How we work
- Real data, with sources. Weather comes from official weather stations, places from Wikidata and photos from Wikimedia Commons. Every page says where its numbers come from.
- Only complete destinations. A destination goes live once every section has data. Today 31 destinations are published, and more are added a few at a time.
- What is automated, said plainly. The weather, time and packing sections are built with rules from the data. Souvenirs are researched by an AI assistant (Claude, by Anthropic) using web searches: each product lists its sources, and an automatic check reviews every entry before it is published.

How it is funded
Climópolis is free. It is supported by ads and by links to travel services (hotels, tours, insurance): if you book through one of our links we earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. None of these links change the data we show.
